Will he give up everything to protect his son—even Bella?
*~* My Review*~*
Overall I liked this book. I really enjoyed reading about Caden and Evan. I felt how deep the father son relationship was and I wanted more. I normally enjoy the romance more than the parenting part of a novel, but this one was more intense. I loved how they met though I felt the intimacy evolved super fast. Like yeah Bella and Caden just me but oh well lets get together even if just a bit. Bella annoyed me a bit, I felt like she was slightly immature except for a couple times in the book I was like, yes, this is the mature 30 something strong woman she keeps telling us she is. Which she talked about a lot, how strong she is how tough, but then she sees Caden and it's like her brain shuts off and all she thinks is he's hot.
The friendship between the girls was fun to read, and the jokes they played on Theresa was great! Though wow sometimes what they said to each other was very shocking. Not bad, just like oh, if my friend said that to me... The plot with the boys and Evan I thought added a nice touch to the story and it really showed the amazing relationship between Caden and Evan again. Plus how much Evan loved Jamie and Verra.
I overall enjoyed the book, and it may have just been me and where I am in my life, but It was hard for me to enjoy Bella as I was more interested in Caden and the other relationships. I give this book a 3.5 star rating
