A wonderful edition to the Mythos Academy series. Gwen seems more confident, better at her fighting, and generally more fun to read. I am shocked by the ending, though I probably shouldn't be, sometimes you need to make a big splash after a few books! I really enjoyed seeing new characters, and at no point was I bored or ready to read something else, in fact I wanted more once it was over. The book didn't even seem very long it only covered like three days which is great because you really feel like you were there with Gwen, no matter if she was about to fight, or being arrested, or just talking with friends. I am very pleased with this book, and can't wait for more.
